    Biography

    Doctor of Agricultural Engineering. Professor at the University of Valladolid between 2001 and 2005. Official of the National Corps of Agricultural Engineers, he worked between 2006-2023 at the MAPA. He is currently Director of the Research Service of the Cajamar Group Foundation.

    What is the current situation of the wine sector? What challenges has it been successfully facing and what is still a long way to go? Over the last 12 years, Cajamar has published four monographic books on the wine sector, all of which have won awards in their respective categories from the International Wine Organisation (OIV). This structural, in-depth knowledge is complemented by the current information on the wine market that Cajamar produces on Plataforma Tierra. In this activity we will summarise the content of all this work, considering the present and future of the sector.
